A woman's torment
Played the horse with every dick and harry
In their brothers' car or on fathers' farms
Enjoying herself to the fullest
Pregnated was she, difficult to place the father
At the end of gestation,an offspring
Opened its eyes to see the light of the world.

Its name was misspelt by midwife who suggested
Among three surnames,its right one
Told he was the offspring's father
Objection, he didn't
Took responsibities as do good fathers
Was there when it needed him

Helped by a cousin on how to read
She made herself a success in a show business
But the world which know the story of its birth
Questioned the authenticity of its fate-imposed father
The cousin who was there for it failed to reveal
Father said he didn't play the horse with her on that fateful day
Mother denied having played horse with three men
Hence a woman's torment.
